Business model and how technology changes everything.

When times get tough, a company's business model really gets put to the test. Now the internet has changed many business, such as buying music, computers,  Christmas shopping. Now the strange thing is that the world of invoicing, accounting software seems to have a number of big players that only produce, difficult to use rigid software that has to be installed and upgraded regularly. If you are not an accountant you often need to go on a training course as well. Now some of the larger dinosaur companies don't really help business as much as they should. Software should give a business flexibility and reduce cost, and not hold it back. I am sure they have not run a small business otherwise they would not make the software so complex to use.
